The girls are at Rei's place, studying again. As Ami works with Usagi on a problem, Rei begins to think about how the strange and ominous dream she keeps having is getting stronger and stronger. As she is thinking this, the Messiah of Silence appears in shadows and then when a closer up view of her appears, we see that the Messiah of Silence looks an awful lot like Hotaru. Rei thinks, "But, what in the world is that girl . . . ?!"
